The Law Enforcement Investigations Training unit develops and delivers training curriculum that provides law enforcement officers with the imperative skills necessary to conduct thorough and successful investigations of crimes ranging from minor to the most heinous imaginable.
Courses offered within this unit teach officers essential skills in a wide range of subject areas including: crimes against persons, crimes against property, drug enforcement investigations, forensics, traffic crash investigations, coroners training, and more.
This unit also delivers the training programs to satisfy the requirements for several Georgia P.O.S.T. specialized certifications: Criminal Investigator, Narcotic Investigator, Crime Scene Technician, and Traffic Accident Reconstruction Specialist Certifications.
