Law Enforcement Investigations Training

The Law Enforcement Investigations Training Unit offers training courses that equip officers with the skills necessary to conduct successful criminal, gang, drug, death, and traffic related investigations. General areas of instruction within this unit include: crimes against persons, crimes against property, drug enforcement investigations, forensics, traffic crash investigations, coroners training, and more.

Vulnerable Populations Training

The Vulnerable Populations Unit (VPU) equips Georgia’s public safety personnel with the specialized knowledge, skills, and resources essential for the effective and compassionate investigation of crimes against our most vulnerable citizens: children, elders, and individuals in crisis.

Traffic Enforcement Training

The Traffic Enforcement Training Unit develops and delivers an intense and challenging training curriculum that provides law enforcement officers with the critical skills necessary to enforce traffic laws.

Leadership Training

The Leadership Training Unit offers training courses focused on professional development, stress management, and leadership skills in order to successfully serve in executive positions within their local agencies.
