There are programs that students who wish to enroll in GPSTC’s Basic Training courses may explore to assist with the cost of attending training. All programs require that students meet certain minimum requirements.
Staff of the GPSTC Basic Law Enforcement Training Section’s Regional Academies (for police) or the Fire & Emergency Services Section (for firefighters) can help you determine if you meet the requirements of any programs.
Georgia Senate Bill 358
In accordance with Georgia Senate Bill 358, we are pleased to announce that the cost of tuition will be waived for all active duty, retired, or honorably discharged service members of the United States Armed Forces. Students will still be required to pay pertinent application fees and purchase necessary equipment that is required for the academy.
