The Fire and Emergency Services Section oversees all training—both basic and advanced—for career and volunteer firefighters, and communications officers in the state of Georgia. Our team is dedicated to developing the abilities of Georgia’s firefighters and fire officers to deliver safe, effective and efficient emergency services to the communities they serve. The section offers a comprehensive array of training courses that address the professional development needs of Georgia Fire & EMS organizations from entry-level training through chief officer training. Many of the exceptional training classes we offer meet or exceed the National Fire Protection Association’s requirements for ProBoard Certification.
