The Georgia Public Safety Training Center recognizes the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council’s traditional tracks for career development and offers many of the courses leading to Intermediate and Advanced Certification. The Intermediate and Advanced Certifications allow law enforcement officers to obtain the credentials that many local agencies use in the promotion process.
Completion of the Intermediate and Advanced training programs leads to certification by the Georgia Peace Officer Standards & Training Council.
