Sovereign Citizen extremists continue to pose problems for law enforcement in Georgia, and officers must be well versed in the characteristics and types of criminal activity associated with the movement. GPSTC offers The Sovereign Citizen Movement, a one-hour online training module to help officers identify the sovereign citizen groups that are active in Georgia as well as the political beliefs of the movement, the fraudulent identification documents often carried and presented by sovereign citizens, and the methods of operation sovereign citizens use to commit fraud & other criminal activity.
Students, training officers and agency heads may register for this training, and students may view the module at any time up to the fifth day of the month following registration!
