Tactical Diffusion Strategies Training will be offered May 1-3 at GPSTC’s main Forsyth campus.
This course will provide the student with the latest theories in verbal communication and situational de-escalation techniques. A review of the legal considerations for use of force situations and basic concepts of verbal defense and influence will be some of the topics of instruction. Students will have extensive scenario-based training and ample opportunity to employ the techniques taught.
Special Notes: Students need to bring duty gear (minus firearm, ammo, OC Spray, Baton, TASER), comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and a water bottle.
