GPSTC Transitions to Logistical Staging Area

As Hurricane Irma threatened to make landfall, the Georgia Public Safety Training Center transitioned into a Logistical Staging Area (LSA) to provide assistance to the disaster relief emergency. GPSTC was activated as a FEMA/GEMA LSA and is collaboratively working with the Georgia Forestry Commission in support of disaster relief.  We are in day 7 of receiving, staging, and the distribution of supplies, however we will return to normal class schedules on Monday, September 18th.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the devastation Irma left behind.
