The Georgia Public Safety Training Center will be replacing Elder Abuse with At-Risk Adults.
At-Risk Adults will provide students with the tools to conduct effective investigations involving at-risk adults. Throughout the three-hour P.O.S.T. credit course, officers will be provided tips to identify abused, neglected, and exploited adults. Georgia statues are also included for officers to gain more knowledge on the subject.
Important Note: All law enforcement officers who are taking re-certification courses will need to take At-Risk Adults.
