Impaired Driving & Speed Enforcement Training Programs

B.S., Mercer University

Biography

Jonathan Fuss began his law enforcement career in 1993 with the Henry County Police Department and quickly developed an interest and passion for training. He served as the departmental training officer before accepting a position in June of 2000 with the Georgia Police Academy in the Traffic Section where he currently serves as the Section Manager of the highway safety grant programs funded through the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. These programs are instrumental in reducing serious injury and fatality crashes by training officers to proactively enforce all applicable traffic laws and to identify and apprehend subjects who are driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and in many cases a combination of both.
