Eric joined the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in July 2017 after serving as a decorated law enforcement officer in Georgia since 2005. Eric has served in various capacities including Jail Officer, Patrol Deputy, Detective, and the Honor Guard and S.W.A.T. Team during his law enforcement career. Eric spent over half of his law enforcement career as a Detective. During this time, Eric earned his certifications for General Instructor, Firearms Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Health & Wellness Instructor, and Field Training Officer. Additionally, Eric has completed Supervision I, II, and III training through the Georgia Police Academy. Currently, Eric is a reserve member of the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office where he serves on the Honor Guard and a member of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center Police Department.
