David Kain began his law enforcement career with Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office in 2009. He began his career in Uniform Patrol and was moved to Crime Suppression in 2011. He was promoted to Corporal in 2013 and worked each shift in Uniform Patrol. He took over the Crime Suppression Unit and served there until he was moved to the position of Training Coordinator in 2016. David Kain also served on Rockdale County’s SWAT team for a number of years, in addition to his patrol duties.
David Kain has a BA in History from Valdosta State University and is a POST Certified General Instructor, Firearm Instructor, Driver Training Instructor, and Defensive Tactics Instructor. He also holds instructor certifications as a Less Lethal Instructor, Ballistic Shield Instructor, and Tac Med Instructor.
