The Georgia Public Safety Training Center is offering TASER on May 25. If you missed the last class offering, now is your chance!
Anyone employed with a local, state, or federal law enforcement agency and is designated to carry and use a TASER on duty can attend the class. This course is designed to certify the user in the use of the TASER Conducted Electrical Weapon (CEW), specifically the X26/P. A brief overview of CEW technology, medical safety, and use in tactical considerations will be included. Students will experience the effects of the TASER, and deploy the TASER in various practical applications. TASER exposure is mandatory.
Students must bring duty gear (minus firearm, ammo, OC spray, and baton). A TASER will be assigned for in-class use. Therefore, an agency supplied TASER is optional. Students should wear comfortable clothes for the duration of the course.
