On August 14, the Georgia Public Safety Training Center will be offering Tactical Diffusion Strategies.
Since this course is designed for law enforcement officers who have direct contact with the public, students will be provided with the latest theories in verbal communication and situational de-escalation techniques. A review of the legal considerations for use of force situations and basic concepts of verbal defense and influence will be covered during the course. Then, students will get ample opportunity to employ the techniques taught in an extensive scenario-based training.
