The Georgia Public Safety Training Center is pleased to announce the following courses from Langdon Tactical: Tactical Carbine Skills, 9/5-9/6; and Advanced Tactical Pistol Skills, 9/7-9/8.

To attend the courses, students will need to register with Langdon Tactical, Inc., and GPSTC. Each course is $500 each and is payable to Langdon Tactical, Inc. Registration and payment must be done prior to the first day of class. Since GPSTC is hosting the course, students will need to provide their own ammunition for both courses.

 

Tactical Carbine Skills

This course is an advanced course for law enforcement officers that utilize a patrol rifle/carbine. The law enforcement officer will learn necessary skills such as: weapons maintenance, optic selection, ballistics, multiple targets, field shooting positions, use of cover from a barricade, engaging targets within close quarters, and shooting on the move.

Students should bring:

-High Quality AR 15 with sling

-4 High Quality 30 round magazines

-At least 2 magazine pouches (drop pouch/bag recommended)

-800 rounds of reliable ammunition

-Eye protection

-Ear protection

-Hat with a brim

-Rain gear (training will happen rain or shine)

Advanced Tactical Pistol Skills

This course will focus on expanding the abilities of the law enforcement officer’s primary weapon. It is an advanced course and is not intended for a new shooter or someone with basic pistol skills. It is recommended that each student has successfully passed Semi-Auto Pistol Level 2 and/or Semi-Auto Pistol Level 3.

 

Students should bring:

-High Quality semi-auto handgun

-4 magazines (ability to take 40 rounds to the line)

-Holster

-Magazine pouch for at least two magazines

-Sturdy belt suitable for holster and magazine pouches

-1000 rounds of reliable ammunition

-Eye protection

-Ear protection

-Hat with a brim

-Rain gear (training will happen rain or shine)
