Instructors in this position are responsible for teaching other public safety professionals how to develop lesson plans and deliver performance-based training. Supported by a diverse team you will research and develop both classroom and online training courses, and participate in a variety of instructional design projects to expand our Instructor Development Program.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of public safety experience; 18 months’ experience as a trainer, FTO, CTO, or classroom instructor; a strong work ethic; robust written and verbal communications skills; and the ability to embrace alternatives to traditional educational methods in order to deliver state-of-the-art public safety training.
