When approaching Athens, get on to the US 29 Loop around Athens. Since the loop encircles Athens either direction will bring you back to your entry point. When you arrive at Exit #8 – (Lexington Hwy US 78 East), exit the loop. At the bottom of the off ramp turn away from Athens (in either case that will be to your right). Travel down Lexington Hwy. (US 78 East) till you reach a Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse on your left. At that intersection, turn left onto Cherokee Road. Go to the next traffic light (about I mile) then take a left onto Buddy Christian Way. The building will be the first structure on the right. A brick and granite sign is placed in front of the building, near the road, designating GPSTC – Athens. Park in any unmarked parking space and enter the building in the rear (just follow the signs).
