IMPORTANT CHANGES:

Revolving Calendar:
Begining with the FY2010 Calendar, students/training officers will be able to view a continuous, progressive three month calendar.

Acceptance Limitations:
Individual students can be accepted into no more than two classes at a time during the three month registration period. Some mandatory sequential classes may be exempt.

Meal Changes:
Due to budget reductions, the Georgia Public Safety Training Center is no longer able to provide meals at no charge for students attending training programs as of July 1, 2009. However, meals are available for purchase at the point of sale in the cafeteria. Agencies who want to estimate the anticipated costs for meals should use the rates of $4.50 for breakfast, $6.75 for lunch and $6.75 for dinner. However, lodging is still available for eligible students (those over 60 radial miles from GPSTC) and eligible students are provided instruction without a tuition fee. GPSTC regrets any inconvenience this may cause.

Cancellation Policy:
Agencies should notify the Training Center of a student cancellation at least 7 days prior to the start date of a course to be marked as a "cancellation". This will allow the Training Center time to contact a replacement student on the waiting list. Any student not canceled within 7 days of the start date of a course will be considered a "no show". Agencies that accumulate multiple "no shows" may be subject to training restrictions.
