DUI Case Preparation and Courtroom Presentation

Course Length: 24 Hours

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is intended for public safety officers who have completed an IACP/NHTSA Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Program. Students will develop a DUI case, prepare the case for prosecution, present the case in a mock trial and be evaluated on all aspects of the course. This program is designed to improve the officer's ability to successfully prepare and prosecute a DUI case.

PREREQUISITE

Applicants must have successfully completed a DUI Detection/Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Course.

SPECIAL NOTES

Applicants who attend this course are required to wear their departmental uniform to class.
