Introduction to NFIRS 5.0

Course Length: 16 Hours

Who Should Attend: New, current and potential users of a fire department or state uniform reporting system. Member of local or state fire services organizations responsible for documenting incidents and/or incident data.

Prerequisite: None

This training program is designed specifically to support local fire service organizations and will assist them in providing data to both their management and decision makers, as well as to their state uniform reporting system.

Special Notes: This course replaces the Georgia Fire Incident Reporting System course.

Students wishing to have their own copy of the student manual and other handouts for this course should go to the following link to download and print the student manual and any associated handouts or scenarios.

Student Manuals

Manuals will be provided for students who do not bring their own copy to class. The manuals provided by the Georgia Fire Academy will remain the property of the Georgia Fire Academy and will be collected at the close of the class.
